The Post -The story starts out when The Washington Post was very small newspaper and someone else always got the story first. Mrs. Graham, who was the only woman publisher had to make a big decision about whether to publish a story about the inside scoop on the Vietnam War. The Government was trying to stop them from telling the truth but freedom of the press came through in the end.
In my option there are two things in the movie that I liked .
I liked Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep they are two of my favorite actors and they made a great team. It was also a true story and it showed how strong Mrs. Graham was in a time where women did not run large companies.
I give it a 9 out of 10 because just like "Bridge of Spies.", it was hard to follow but sometimes history is. This movie is directed by Steven Spielberg, one of my favorite directors. I recommend if you do not know the history of this event, that you read up on it before you see the movie. It was really a good story and a really great movie.
