Starring Michael Douglas, Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Kline, Last Vegas is an even better comedy than Norbit. The comedy appeals to both teens and grown ups, providing a hilarious and heartwarming story. The acting was slightly overrated (because of the all-star cast). Surprisingly less disgusting and more funny than This is the End, the poop jokes made me laugh quite a bit. Although I liked the movie, I unfortunately have a few complaints.
The seemingly-forced appearance of LMFAO in the film (where the band members shake their money makers' in De Niro's face) was plain disturbing and unnecessary. Some parts of the movie provide too much silence when it comes to De Niro's character, Patty. I would have liked to see this character's storyline developed more; although he started out as a miserable character, he did make me laugh in the last 2/3 of the movie.
Out of ten stars, I give Last Vegas a solid 7. Funny and heartwarming, but too many forced celebrity appearances. All teenagers and adults would love this movie, but the slightly inappropriate humor won't appeal to children.
